WebForce is a new app for Android that, simply put, lets you force practically anything using your phone.
Here's just a few of the effects you can accomplish...
Google Image Celebrity Force:
The spectator searches for celebrities on Instagram, then scrolls through the list of Google images. They stop wherever they like and select a random image of a celebrity, you can then reveal the celebrity they've selected.
Wikipedia word force:
The spectator goes to a random Wikipedia article and scrolls through the article to somewhere random. They memorise a word in that article and try and send it to you telepathically. You can then reveal their thought.
Spotify song force:
The spectator opens Spotify and scrolls through a random playlist. They stop wherever they like and press on a random song. You can then reveal the song.
Google Maps location force:
The spectator opens Google Maps and zooms out until multiple countries appear on the screen. They then swipe around randomly to a random area and select a random country. You can then reveal the country.
Instagram account force:
The spectator opens Instagram, goes to a famous celebrity's page and opens their "following" list. They scroll through, stopping when they like. They then tap to open a random account, most likely another well-known celebrity. You can reveal the celebrity they picked.
How it works (standard handling):
Step 1: Input link
Copy the desired link to be forced, then paste it in the app.
Step 2: That’s it!
The app will then run in the background. Whenever you want to force the link you can - there are a bunch of different, hidden methods for doing that!
Who’s behind WebForce?
This project is a collaboration between The Daily Magician and two incredible developers/magicians from Singapore - Ian and Garv. Who are both Daily Magician readers.
This idea was brought to us months ago, and since then we’ve been working incredibly hard all together to get this into your hands.
