Most Magicians Won’t Buy This Product

Dear friend,

Most of you won’t buy this.

In fact—you might be clicking away already.

Here’s why:

- There’s no fancy trailer.
- This product is a modern take on a classic plot that most of us already know about.
- The method is not ‘super easy’ and can’t be ‘performed within 5 minutes or less after purchase.’

In fact, here’s what one review had to say:

“Not for the faint of heart. You will have to practice.”

Here’s the thing though…

When it came to performing magic day in and day out, sometimes for the best magicians in the world, at the Blackpool Magic Convention:

We chose to use magic from THIS project (and it fooled them hard!)

In fact, here’s the feedback we’ve been getting from those that took the time to watch this project.

"A truly excellent project with some really interesting principles that I have never come across before. Benji holds your hand throughout all the phases of this seemingly impossible feat and makes something that would be baffling in print surprisingly easy to do. I definitely recommend this project. I am already thinking the principles taught could turn your "out of this world" into something extra special, you could probably turn a quick card trick (out of this world) into a full 20-30 minute show using the teachings within this project. Best of all most phases can be done with a shuffled, borrowed deck of cards. Bravo." - Tom Winder

“This project was a masterclass in fun and interesting methods...Not for the faint of heart you will have to practice. The method is well thought out and easy to pick up with practice. Clear and concise step by step guide.” - Owen Staton

"Novice performers will appreciate the project's structured approach, which guides them through the fundamentals of the color sense routine, while a seasoned magician will find innovative techniques to breathe new life into this classic effect." - Cliff Horn

Okay, now that most people have stopped reading this page, let’s get into the details of our latest release...

Here's the idea:

The spectator shuffles the cards. You close your eyes and hold your hand over the deck. One by one, you sense the colors of the cards!

We’ve always loved the above ‘color sense’ routine, so we recently sat down and produced the Kaleidoscope Project—a collection of FIVE incredible handlings of the plot…
Phase 1: The Classic

The spectator shuffles the cards. You remove a red card and a black card and, even though the spectator mixes them, you always guess which is which. Next, you place the deck below the table and sense the colors of a whole bunch of cards one at a time!

This is our take on the classic handling of the color sense plot, teaching Lewis Jones’ genius principle with permission.

This variation:

  • Can be done completely impromptu
  • No deck switch required
  • Easy to do
Phase 2: Suits

The effect begins as above. But this time, as you’re sensing the colors of the cards, you suddenly begin to sense their suit too! You end by revealing the suit and value of the final card.

This variation is powerful because it doesn’t require you to learn a new method—it simply takes the method you already learnt and applies it in a clever new way to ‘level up’ the routine.

This variation:

  • Completely impromptu
  • No deck switch required
  • Uses the same method as the first

Phase 3: Spectator Does It

The effect begins similarly, but has a twist…

This time, as the cards are below the table, you have the spectator try to sense the colors of the cards. To their astonishment, they’re right every time. Next, you ask them if they can sense the suit of the cards. Once again, they’re right EVERY time!

In this effect, you can either immediately show that the spectator guessed correctly, or you can place the cards face down in different piles based on their guess and then reveal at the end.

The second way of handling the reveal makes this routine feel very much like an Out of This World plot, but it has the benefit of requiring zero packet switching and the spectator can turn over the piles themselves!

Disclaimer: This variation is NOT easy.

Phase 4: Hidden Patterns

In this variation, you perform the classic color sense routine but with some very impressive conditions…

  • The spectator shuffles the deck
  • Once they shuffle, you don’t even look at the faces of the cards
  • Doesn’t require a marked deck

Phase 5: Experimental Ideas

In this phase, we go over a bunch of ideas for how you can increase the impact of this routine by combining techniques we teach in previous phases with a powerful tool that many magicians already use.

Imagine this:

You shuffle and place the cards under the table. The spectator guesses the colors of the cards, proving correct every time.

Next, they start guessing the suit, once again guessing correctly every time.

Next, you ask them to guess the VALUE of the card. Believe it or not, they also guess correctly every time!

You end by having them guess the entire identity of the card—and they of course guess correctly.

This variation is not easy, and may look different each time you perform it, but the above is 100% possible with the techniques taught.

All of the above 5 phases are taught in the 93-minute runtime Kaleidoscope Project—the ultimate resource for magicians who want to master this routine.
